Josh Brolin talks to Latest 7 about his role as President Bush in Oliver Stone’s new film W

It’s been a rather impressive few years for you, hasn’t it?
Right, but once you confine it to the year, where do you go from there?

But it’s enabled you to take the step up to play the lead in W., doesn’t it?
That was what I hoped, to respect the moment. I had a lot of opportunities and a lot of money came my way, so thank God for my friend Brett Markinson, who taught me most of what I know about trading stocks. That gave me an objectivity to it all. The festive season is almost upon us but Zara Baker discovers it’s not all smiles and celebrations

It’s the most wonderful time of the year… or so the song goes. As the festive parties begin and decorations adorn shop fronts and homes, the darker side of winter can hide behind all the cheer.

I met Sandie Stockham, an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner at Brighton Laser Clinic to find ways to rejuvenate and rescue the skin from environmental damage, particularly from the winter weather. The result? Soft, supple and fresh faced.

Latest TV

» Brighton Lights 31

Our new programme for thelatest.tv sees Juice FM presenter Guy Lloyd investigate all manner of things. He starts off with chart-topping band The Hoosiers who were mega-successful a couple of years ago, were dropped by their major label and have become fashionably independent. Their chart-topping album cost £1 million to record, their new album £100 and we reckon it's just as good. We have exclusive footage of this new record. Guy does crazy-golfing with them, checks out their sound-check and witnesses the fans' adoration of the band at Audio in Brighton. In future shows Guy will be doing waxing, Dot Cotton, air guitar and needs your suggestions for more crazy things (or people) to do. Send to bill@thelatest.co.uk
