Ken Russell
The maverick British filmmaker (Women In Love, Altered States) was – after a short stint as a ballet dancer! – a freelance photographer, submitting work to the Pictorial Press agency back in the ’50s. His cinematic eye, and some of his more surreal and abstract sensibilities, can be seen in the single frame mini-dramas on display here.
