Is there going to be a Hoff in town? Where’s Chris? And big Dave gets all romantic

Hoff on the beach?
American hunk legend David Hasselhoff (currently on our screens as a judge alongside ex-Mirror editor Piers Morgan and Sharon Osborne – on the show America’s Got Talent) was interviewed last week on the Radio 2 Steve Wright show. David was talking about his other current UK TV show, in which Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills lived in his LA home for a few weeks. When asked if he would like to return the compliment and live in the UK with Scott – he said “Yes I would absolutely love that, I have been told by Scott that I should be a lifeguard on Brighton beach!“ Well you heard it here first – we will be looking out for you David!

Chris in hotel?
It was reported last week that former boxer Chris Eubank is living in a hotel. A Sunday newspaper wrote a story that Eubank, who was declared bankrupt in 2005, has been staying at MyHotel in Jubilee Street, Brighton, for the past four months. Chris strongly denied the rumours and said that he “just moves around all the time“.
He admitted though that he did stay two or three days a week in the newly opened hotel. He said: “I stay here quite often, about two or three days a week. But I move around a lot and I have a number of places where I stay. I like this hotel, it‘s central and the staff are nice.” He added: “I will always be in Brighton.”
In his heyday Chris was reported to earn around £35million as a professional boxer fighting in the US and the UK. After being declared bankrupt he was forced to sell his Hove home to pay off the taxman. Anyway Chris – I have a spare room if you want to stay!

Will she or won’t she?
Ex-Dollar star and recent detainee of I‘m a Celebrity Get me Out of Here David Van Day has announced his engagement to girlfriend Sue Moxley. Sue is one of the beauty editors for The Sun and yes this is the same girlfriend that David dumped on live TV.
David was appearing on the Matthew Wright Show on Channel 5, when he suddenly made the shock announcement straight to the camera that he was dumpıng Sue live on air. His exact words were: “I‘ve had enough I can‘t do this any more and I mean this sincerely. I love you but I‘m not prepared to put up with this any more.“ He continued, “Would I dump you? Yes.“
There does however seem to be a complete turnaround now, as David proposed last weekend in an Essex restaurant! The couple are yet to make public any forthcomıng marriage plans – but let‘s hope that David doesn‘t bring the old burger van to the reception!

» Brighton Lights 31

Our new programme for thelatest.tv sees Juice FM presenter Guy Lloyd investigate all manner of things. He starts off with chart-topping band The Hoosiers who were mega-successful a couple of years ago, were dropped by their major label and have become fashionably independent. Their chart-topping album cost £1 million to record, their new album £100 and we reckon it's just as good. We have exclusive footage of this new record. Guy does crazy-golfing with them, checks out their sound-check and witnesses the fans' adoration of the band at Audio in Brighton. In future shows Guy will be doing waxing, Dot Cotton, air guitar and needs your suggestions for more crazy things (or people) to do. Send to bill@thelatest.co.uk
