Peter Andre’s popularity soars, stars line up to perform in Wayne Hemmingway’s Vintage Festival, and Brian Eno looking for a Brighton pad?

Vintage Stars

A new Sussex-based festival has sprung out of nowhere it seems. The Vintage festival is the brainchild of Sussex-based designer Wayne Hemmingway and looks set to be one of the most stylish festivals this year. Set in the gorgeous Goodwood Estate (I can’t wait to see Lord March with a glow stick!), Vintage is a celebration of the decades from the ‘40s right through until the ‘80s – so music wise you can expect swing, mod, soul, funk, ska, electro and disco. Stateside star-spotting with Justin Timberlake, Vinnie Jones, Marc Wootton and American Idol

Celebcity goes to La La Land!

Having been stranded over in the US for an extra nine days due to the volcanic ash cloud had its ups – and spotting celebs was one of the them for sure. » Brighton Lights 31

Our new programme for thelatest.tv sees Juice FM presenter Guy Lloyd investigate all manner of things. He starts off with chart-topping band The Hoosiers who were mega-successful a couple of years ago, were dropped by their major label and have become fashionably independent. Their chart-topping album cost £1 million to record, their new album £100 and we reckon it's just as good. We have exclusive footage of this new record. Guy does crazy-golfing with them, checks out their sound-check and witnesses the fans' adoration of the band at Audio in Brighton. In future shows Guy will be doing waxing, Dot Cotton, air guitar and needs your suggestions for more crazy things (or people) to do. Send to bill@thelatest.co.uk
