Win tickets to the best beach party ever. It’s Celebcity with Jo Brooks

How many 44-year-olds do you know that can still party like they just don’t care? Not many I’m sure, but that is exactly what our very own Fatboy Slim did in London’s Hyde Park last weekend.

Fatboy Slim

I watched the show in good company, having spotted various celebs backstage, including Sir Bob Geldof, Johnny Ball, Steve Jones, Miquita Oliver, Charlize Theron and Miss Universe Australia Laura Dundovic.

Norman was headlining the main stage at the O2 Wireless Saturday night gig, also playing was funk-master bassist Bootsy Collins, Audio Bullys, The Whip, Brighton’s Cagedbaby and Swedish raver Robyn. Fatboy certainly didn’t disappoint, walking on stage barefoot and in cropped trousers and now trademark loud print shirt, to the soundtrack of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

Heather Mills looks to be settling in to life without Paul McCartney, as she finds a new man. It’s Celebcity with Jo Brooks

A Sunday newspaper has revealed that local resident Heather Mills has a good-looking new toy boy.

Heather, who landed a £24million divorce deal from Sir Paul earlier this year, met hunky holiday rep Jamie Walker, 36, when she recently stayed at the Tenerife hotel where he works. She fell for Jamie after she saw him caring for daughter Beatrice at the resort’s kids club. The couple have been out on dates in Tenerife and have also been spotted together in the city.

Katie Price shows off her equestrian skills at Hickstead, the home of dressage. It’s Celebcity with Jo Brooks

Katie PriceEveryone’s favourite gorgeous local superstar, Katie Price has showcased yet another of her talents by competing successfully at the home of dressage, Hickstead in West Sussex. Last week Katie made her competitive dressage debut on her horse Glamour Girl, which bought for her as a 30th birthday present by husband Peter André.

Dressed demurely in traditional dressage gear, Katie came a very respectable sixth in a field of 23 entrants – commanding respect for her riding skills from the sport’s cognoscenti. Ms Price has been training under Olympic horseman Andrew Gould at his stable Priory Dressage in Sussex, which is also where her two beautiful horses are stabled. I for one would love to see Katie performing for Great Britain in the 2012 Olympics and bringing a bit of gloss and glamour to proceedings.

Where do the celeb boys sleep in Sussex? And who’s the best daddy? It’s Celebcity with Jo Brooks

This week’s showbiz update is all about the male celebrity. Firstly to a hotel in Sussex who where a fair few male celebs have been staying over of late. The Felbridge Hotel and Spa, in East Grinstead – just a short drive up the M23, is fast becoming the celeb hotel of choice in West Sussex. In the last six months alone the hotel has played host to Dr Who actor David Tennant, Men Behaving Badly star Martin Clunes and just two weeks ago, Ant and Dec.

The Felbridge Hotel

The comedy duo, I’m told, shared a room (pictured) while attending a wedding nearby and made time to stop and chat to guests staying in the hotel and even made a two-year-old howl with laughter in reception! Read the rest of this article »
