It’s hard to believe, but it’s just 10 days until the start of festival season. Brighton Festival Fringe is kicking off the show with an opening weekend of free outdoor events and showcases. Start your Bank Holiday with a trip to the Fringe City celebrations in New Road and get a taster of some of the 660 shows in this year’s Fringe programme. Plus Fringe City is going green this year with all the stages powered on renewable energy thanks to Brighton company Firefly Solar.
THE NIGHT BEFORE

LaLaLuna is the surreal and whimsical tale of the Moon’s caretaker and his struggle to re-light the Moon, coming to Brighton Festival in May. Follow the hilarious adventure that ensues as the caretaker encounters ‘balls to juggle, suitcases to climb, balloons to enter, whoopee cushions to play with, inner selves to communicate with and audiences to thrill’ (The Program, Melbourne, Australia).
