» Tee time: golfing in Denmark

Lynne Edwards takes in the sights and the golf at the Lübker Golf Resort, Denmark

As you leave the comforting bustle and civilisation of the university town of Aarhus and head further east into the hinterlands of Djursland, the ‘nose’ of Eastern Jutland melting into the Kattegat, a tingle of anticipation fizzes through your limbs. It was from this peninsula of proud pines, cascading hills and gentle coasts that intrepid bands of Danish Vikings sailed forth to bestow a plethora of Danish place names upon neighbours near and far. The Norman town of Aptot, for instance, derives its name from the present day Ebeltoft, a mere 30 km from Lübker Golf Resort.

On average in the UK it is now 60 hours for men and 70 hours for women – making us the most constipated nation in the world as we should have a bowel movement after every meal! What’s more, one in three people consulting a GP have a digestive complaint. Digestive disorders are now widespread. Toxins are re-absorbed through the wall of the colon directly into the bloodstream. Our systems are being heavily polluted by this continually increasing accumulation of waste matter from food and normal body processes.

Latest TV

» Brighton Lights 31

Our new programme for thelatest.tv sees Juice FM presenter Guy Lloyd investigate all manner of things. He starts off with chart-topping band The Hoosiers who were mega-successful a couple of years ago, were dropped by their major label and have become fashionably independent. Their chart-topping album cost £1 million to record, their new album £100 and we reckon it's just as good. We have exclusive footage of this new record. Guy does crazy-golfing with them, checks out their sound-check and witnesses the fans' adoration of the band at Audio in Brighton. In future shows Guy will be doing waxing, Dot Cotton, air guitar and needs your suggestions for more crazy things (or people) to do. Send to bill@thelatest.co.uk
