Comical musician Tim Minchin took time out from working with the RSC on a children’s musical for Christmas 2010 to talk about his comedy friends and family. So what do his kids think of their famous dad?
“Well, one of them’s eight weeks old and the other’s two – almost three – and so I think Violet, the older one, thinks that everyone’s on telly. She’s seen Daddy on telly, Mark Watson on telly – she goes “Watson!“ when he’s on, because she calls him Watson. I think she just thinks that everyone goes on telly… At her age she can’t have any concept of someone being known or not known. Probably by the time she does – ahh!
