Ruby Grimshaw goes off to the deepest jungle

I am going to Indonesia in June with my friend L, to visit the orangutans in the jungle. I felt I should get an update on my immunity, so I made an appointment with my doctor’s surgery. My delight at discovering I only needed a typhoid booster was short-lived.

Ruby Grimshaw says goodbye to her builders

I never thought I would ever say this but I am going to miss the builders! I can honestly say that they have caused me very little inconvenience, have been great company and have caused me hours of enjoyment as I watched them scampering over my roof like mountain goats, and hauling up stacks of materials on their simple rope and tackle. It is not their fault that during their scampering they sadly found lots of other repair jobs on my house that needed doing.

Latest TV

» Brighton Lights 31

Our new programme for thelatest.tv sees Juice FM presenter Guy Lloyd investigate all manner of things. He starts off with chart-topping band The Hoosiers who were mega-successful a couple of years ago, were dropped by their major label and have become fashionably independent. Their chart-topping album cost £1 million to record, their new album £100 and we reckon it's just as good. We have exclusive footage of this new record. Guy does crazy-golfing with them, checks out their sound-check and witnesses the fans' adoration of the band at Audio in Brighton. In future shows Guy will be doing waxing, Dot Cotton, air guitar and needs your suggestions for more crazy things (or people) to do. Send to bill@thelatest.co.uk
