» Seann: has a detox

Seann Walsh is on
a break from alcohol

Most people go through this phase at least once: at night, we drink to forget all the things we have to do. In the day, we‘re too hungover to do the things we have to do. Then, at night, we drink to forget that. And so on, and so on.

Seann Walsh reports on the drinking habits of the Irish

Now, I don’t have the accent or the culture, but genetically I’m half-Irish. Last weekend I visited an Irish friend at his house in Bethnal Green, east London. He lives with about five or six other Irish people, give or take the occasional visitor recovering on the sofa. It was 5pm when I arrived. None of them had slept from the previous night‘s revelry. However, they still had the energy and enthusiasm to make frequent trips to the off licence, replenishing the supplies as they diminished.

» Seann: On Camping

Seann Walsh has a puzzling riddle to solve

» Brighton Lights 31

Our new programme for thelatest.tv sees Juice FM presenter Guy Lloyd investigate all manner of things. He starts off with chart-topping band The Hoosiers who were mega-successful a couple of years ago, were dropped by their major label and have become fashionably independent. Their chart-topping album cost £1 million to record, their new album £100 and we reckon it's just as good. We have exclusive footage of this new record. Guy does crazy-golfing with them, checks out their sound-check and witnesses the fans' adoration of the band at Audio in Brighton. In future shows Guy will be doing waxing, Dot Cotton, air guitar and needs your suggestions for more crazy things (or people) to do. Send to bill@thelatest.co.uk
