This week Katie takes a spin on the big wheel and feels the love

There are two parties on tonight.
The one I’ve got my eye on is the Tatler Restaurant Awards. A foodie celebration organised by the Sloaniest magazine on the block promises to be a champagne-fuelled food-fest – crammed with yummy canapes and celebrity chefs.
I do quite fancy Jamie Oliver, and there’s no food in my fridge – perfect.
Outside our offices the cloud falls into blackness. It’s only six – don’t you hate winter? The rain starts screaming past the windows of the newsroom, rumbling threateningly up the glass.
Anyone with any money, sense or shoes over three inches should be dodging the weather and heading home for a night in; but since I have neither of the first two and am sporting the third I can only keep my fingers crossed.

The O Zone in Brighton’s Church Street has a reputation for creating something different for the modern bride and groom. Over the coming weeks, the boutique will showcase two of the UK’s premier wedding dress designers – Ian Stuart and Charlotte Balbier. The boutique is already a stockist of both designers and this is a wonderful opportunity for brides to view their extended collections. For one week from Saturday 16 February The O Zone will have the complete collection of Charlotte Balbier gowns.
Pronuptia has received an excellent respose to their new collection by both the bridal press and forthcoming brides. This collection offers a fantastic choice in style and fabrics, from fishtails in simple satins and taffetas to flowing laces and crispy tulles; there are dresses to take you from the beach through to full Hollywood glamour.
