Lee Mead suits up in Gresham Blake, Will gets a new tattoo, plus Dermot’s menu unveiled

Best dressed

Suits you
Denise Van Outen and now husband Lee Mead were snapped outside Brighton tailor Gresham Blake, just days before they jetted off to the Seychelles for their secret wedding. Lee was in fact picking up his bespoke suit from the Bond Street store. The grey mohair two piece was personally fitted by Gresham – who is no stranger to a wedding or two!

Brotherly bond
Brighton resident Will Young was out and about in Brighton last week enjoying the sunshine and spotted leaving Inka Tattoo parlour. The former Pop Idol winner is now the proud owner of a brand new tat, his arm now bears the initials R.M.Y. What does that stand for I hear you ask. Well, I can put you out of your misery – it is the initials of his twin brother Rupert. Will is no stranger to the odd tat, as he also has a symbol on his left butt cheek and the words “without fear” in French on his body.

Dermot’s menu
We are slowly finding out more about X-Factor host Dermot O’Leary’s new fish restaurant. Not only will it have vintage chandeliers and antique furniture but here is a sneak peek at what will be on the menu: chargrilled mackerel with citrus butter, grilled lobster with garlic and herbs plus some yummy squid with ginger, garlic and spring onions.

Bull game
I caught up with my friend Dominic Worrell, owner of the Bull pub in Ditchling last week. For those who didn’t see Dominic in the news, he was one of the organisers of the Kabul Cup, a cricket match played by the Ditchling village side and the Afghani national team, in central Kabul! Not only was this an amazing feat of organisation but it made national headlines! Amongst the players was Heart FM breakfast show host and Ditchling resident Jamie Theakston. The Afghani’s won the match but the winner on the day was the beautiful game of cricket!

» Brighton Lights 31

Our new programme for thelatest.tv sees Juice FM presenter Guy Lloyd investigate all manner of things. He starts off with chart-topping band The Hoosiers who were mega-successful a couple of years ago, were dropped by their major label and have become fashionably independent. Their chart-topping album cost £1 million to record, their new album £100 and we reckon it's just as good. We have exclusive footage of this new record. Guy does crazy-golfing with them, checks out their sound-check and witnesses the fans' adoration of the band at Audio in Brighton. In future shows Guy will be doing waxing, Dot Cotton, air guitar and needs your suggestions for more crazy things (or people) to do. Send to bill@thelatest.co.uk
