Latest 7 reveals the winner of the Pynk Studios makeover and photography competition

In September, Latest 7 magazine ran a competition with Pynk Studios to offer a reader the modelling experience of a lifetime. The prize was for a makeover followed by a professional photo shoot and a portfolio to keep for the lucky winner. A must-have for aspiring models.

Model and previous Latest 7 columnist Sandra Omo spoke to the winner chosen from hundreds of entries: Danielle McMahon from Scotland

What did you think when you were told you had just won the Model City reader competition?
I thought it was a fabulous opportunity as I am re-locating to London with my fashion modeling career thus doing a magazine shoot would definitely benefit my portfolio. I was elated, excited and ecstatic that I had won the competition and couldn’t wait for the experience to begin!

Have you won any competition before?
No but I have been runner up in a couple of occasions.

How was the Pynk Studio and her Team?
In one word…FABULOUS! I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. All the team were very friendly and encouraging. I thought everyone made a fantastic effort, especially with my make-up, the photographer was outstanding and the photographs are out of this world! Everyone at the studio was wonderful.

What did you like most about the day?
The shoot itself. I worked with a great team and I couldn’t ask for more spectacular photographs. To sum up…When can we all do it all again!

Our new programme for thelatest.tv sees Juice FM presenter Guy Lloyd investigate all manner of things. He starts off with chart-topping band The Hoosiers who were mega-successful a couple of years ago, were dropped by their major label and have become fashionably independent. Their chart-topping album cost £1 million to record, their new album £100 and we reckon it's just as good. We have exclusive footage of this new record. Guy does crazy-golfing with them, checks out their sound-check and witnesses the fans' adoration of the band at Audio in Brighton. In future shows Guy will be doing waxing, Dot Cotton, air guitar and needs your suggestions for more crazy things (or people) to do. Send to bill@thelatest.co.uk
