Katie Price gives the lowdown on her recent surgery and the Naked Chef’s been a busy boy

Our loveable Katie Price has spoken for the first time publicly about her latest trip to Los Angeles to have a new wave of plastic surgery. The trip saw Katie have her fifth boob job, lip injections, new dental work plus a bit of botox for good measure.
However, all the procedures didn’t go exactly to plan as the glamour girl stayed in hospital for 13 days instead of the routine five. In a recent interview Katie said: “I was getting the veneers on the back of my teeth finished on this trip. As soon as I landed I went straight to the dentist. I woke up the next day and went to have my boobs done and was under for five hours.
“Afterwards I was in a bit of state and the people at the clinic kept waking me and giving me injections of painkillers and sedatives. I was trying to talk to them to tell them my arm felt paralysed, but apparently I was just slumped over and couldn’t talk.”
She continued: “They were worried, so the surgeon decided he’d have to put me under again and sort out the problem. They had to undo all the stitches on my boobs, I was under for another three hours in the end.”
So, is Katie now happy with her smaller boobs? “Yes! They’re exactly how I wanted them! If not more. I put on a dress the other day and was like bloody hell, where’s my chest gone? I love them, though.”
You can currently see Katie and Peter’s antic on Katie and Peter: The Next Chapter, on ITV2 every Thursday at 9pm.

Jamie Oliver is going to be a dad for the third time. The 33-year-old, who is due to open a restaurant in Brighton next year, and his wife Jools already have daughters Poppy and Daisy who are six and five. The cheeky chef will also be back on our screens this autumn with his brand new show for Channel 4 – Ministry of Food.

Jamie said: “I’m massively excited about my new project, Ministry of Food and a new food movement, called ‘Pass it On’, that I’m hoping will be a huge part of it. My new book, Jamie’s Ministry of Food and the TV show (also called Ministry of Food) will both be coming out in the next couple of weeks. They’re both basically about inspiring people to get back into their kitchens and make simple, delicious food from scratch again.
Although there are loads of great things to say about the state of cooking and food in this country, there are also quite a few negatives. We Brits have one of the highest obesity rates in Europe; we love our ready meals and takeaways and seem to be eating more of them then ever.
We really seem to have lost the plot a bit when it comes to passing on our cooking skills from generation to generation – so much so, that some of the people I met in my cooking classes while filming the TV show didn’t know how to mash a potato”.
The first episode airs on Tuesday 30 September.
