Seminal visceral punks who stormed the charts with ‘If the Kids Are United’ and ‘Hurry Up Harry’. More recently they scored a top 10 with ‘Hurry Up England’ and after the break up of the original band in 2007 Dave Parsons has carried on delivering the same punk anthems as 30 years previously. In aid of Brighton Pebbles.

William Dalrymple’s Nine Lives tour
In his new bestselling book Nine Lives: In Search Of The Sacred In Modern India, celebrated British writer William Dalrymple sets out to discover how South Asia’s diverse sacred traditions are managing to survive in the new India. Helping him bring his book to life will be a group of ganja-smoking tantric Baul singers, or Madmen, from rural Bengal. The British Tamilian virtuoso Susheela Raman is also on the bill, accompanied by her husband Sam Mills on guitar. A World Sacred Music event.

Sarah-Jane Morris
Famed for her association with the Communards in the mid-80s and infamous for a banned rendition of the classic ‘Me And Mrs Jones’, Sarah Jane Morris has always attracted as much attention for her politics as for her soul-driven, seismic voice. Over the years, this unassuming artist has been compared to Janis Joplin, Nina Simone and Tom Waits.
