Vashti Bunyan

Her story is one of thwarted promise, disenchantment, long-term self-imposed exile and eventual rediscovery. Initially unearthed by The Rolling Stones’ guru Andrew Loog Oldham, she was touted as the new Marianne Faithful, which in hindsight was a mistake. Vashti, of course, is a hippy at heart, and she took off on a horse and cart to live a quiet life in rural Scotland, growing vegetables and raising a family. But those early records, in particular the album she recorded and released in 1970 to muted response, never went away. Vashti subsequently discovered that she was a bit of a cult item, and over the last few years has re-invigorated her musical career, this time with a great deal more success!

Gary Moore + The Perils
Blues rock supremo Gary Moore is the special guest at this Haiti fundraiser. The event also features The Perils, The Laylanas, Strange Animals, The Half Sisters, and DJs Vito Benito and Agenda Blender. There will also be a raffle, an auction, and much else besides, all hosted by the Trudi Styles. 100% of proceeds will be going to projects supported by Action Against Hunger.

Bad Company
Hell, yeah! The boys are back in town, riding the hard rock revival but ready to gun down any of the young pretenders. One of the greatest voices in rock music, the former Free frontman Paul Rogers, will be joined by original members Mick Ralphs and Simon Kirke, also ex-Free. Expect all the hits, including the brilliantly cheesy classics ‘Can’t Get Enough Of Your Love’ and ‘Feel Like Makin’ Love’ (they don’t make them like this any more, unfortunately). In support is Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry, doing his own thang with The Joe Perry Project.
