A full house aged from 16 to 82 adored her and she paid back in full. Still blessed with an amazing voice she relived the hits like ‘You Got The Love‘ and ‘Nights On Broadway‘. ‘Suspicious Minds‘ was more convincing than Elvis and ‘Stand By Your Man] about strength and understanding not subservience. She inspired with stories of tough times in a man’s world as soul was before, well before Candi and her contemporaries Aretha and Gladys. A great band were joined by the whole crowd for a 20 minute finale – the celebratory ‘Young Hearts Run Free‘. She’s Got The Love!

Our new programme for thelatest.tv sees Juice FM presenter Guy Lloyd investigate all manner of things. He starts off with chart-topping band The Hoosiers who were mega-successful a couple of years ago, were dropped by their major label and have become fashionably independent. Their chart-topping album cost £1 million to record, their new album £100 and we reckon it's just as good. We have exclusive footage of this new record. Guy does crazy-golfing with them, checks out their sound-check and witnesses the fans' adoration of the band at Audio in Brighton.
