» Review: Have I None by Edward Bond
The play presents a sort of post-apocalyptic society where humanity has simply got tired of excess – possessions, friends, family etc and abandoned them. The result is that the lead characters Sarah (Laura Corbett) and Jams (Max O’Donoghue) squabble endlessly about who sits on whose chair; these overly heated exchanges provide the play’s funniest moments that are frequently hilarious. Into this comes Grit (Chris Harrison) who claims to be Sarah’s brother. The acting and direction is strong but the play itself doesn’t have much new to say and the one act isn’t quite enough to fully develop the characters or the story.
