» Review: Ministry Of Burlesque: High Tease

Variety was definitely the order of the day with Ministry of Burlesque: High Tease. Ably hosted by the jovial Paul L Martin, the night certainly belonged to the three sensuous, erotic but not distasteful burlesque dancers: Miss Malone, Vicky Butterfly and El Amore. Each performed separate interpretations of the style in each half. However, the remaining acts of singers, comedy skits and physical theatre failed to help the evening flow (although each act were good in their own right). A packed and rowdy Komedia were certainly roused by a cheeky traditional ostrich feather dance finale, complete with tassels in all the right places.

Our new programme for thelatest.tv sees Juice FM presenter Guy Lloyd investigate all manner of things. He starts off with chart-topping band The Hoosiers who were mega-successful a couple of years ago, were dropped by their major label and have become fashionably independent. Their chart-topping album cost £1 million to record, their new album £100 and we reckon it's just as good. We have exclusive footage of this new record. Guy does crazy-golfing with them, checks out their sound-check and witnesses the fans' adoration of the band at Audio in Brighton.
