Character comedy can be so hit and miss, so it was a delight to find that not only were Pippa’s many characters solidly built, each with their own humour, but that there was a linear story holding the night together and leaving us with a beginning, a middle and a satisfactory end. With an impressive singing voice, and only a small amount of corpsing, we were treated to original music hall songs, bingo, a delightfully ribbing theatre questionnaire and a hungover headliner with aspirations of veganism. Fabulous and engaging, I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.

Our new programme for thelatest.tv sees Juice FM presenter Guy Lloyd investigate all manner of things. He starts off with chart-topping band The Hoosiers who were mega-successful a couple of years ago, were dropped by their major label and have become fashionably independent. Their chart-topping album cost £1 million to record, their new album £100 and we reckon it's just as good. We have exclusive footage of this new record. Guy does crazy-golfing with them, checks out their sound-check and witnesses the fans' adoration of the band at Audio in Brighton.
