» Review: Radio City Theatre

A great fan of radio drama and comedy, I was intrigued to see if this live format would work – and it does, quite brilliantly. For just over an hour the audience were enthralled and entertained by a small group of actors and three short works: the first funny but thought provoking, the second perhaps deriving too much from Alan Bennett, but the third, by Joe Nixon, a total triumph of surreal, sci-fi fun. The team have devoted much to making this as real a radio experience as possible and their efforts have more than paid off. I cannot wait to go again.
