» Scrubbers by Cenarth Fox

Five cleaners meet the new, foreign ‘scrubber’ and warmly embrace her into their womanly fold to share problems and find laughter in life’s challenges. There’s the sexy (kinda) juvenile; the wise, Mother Hen and ex-bunny girl; the posh one with a few secret skeletons to reveal; the glam, brassy one; and the sweet ‘foreigner’. A cute little play with lively dialogue and songs smattered throughout, plus a touch of tap dancing too, this is an endearing snapshot of how these ladies take on the credit crunch and swap their dusters for ditties. Truly charming.
