Dare to bare with laser hair removal at Revitalise Laser Spa

Imagine smooth, silky skin with no shadow, no stubble, no razor burns or cuts. Forget the hassle of shaving, plucking or waxing! Laser hair removal is now the method of choice for eliminating unwanted body and facial hair. Revitalise Laser Spa in Brighton and Hove use the best laser technology available to quickly, safely, and effectively remove unwanted hair.

No other hair removal technology even comes close to the Chromogenex EPL lasers at Revitalise. Laser treatments are quick, with little or no discomfort, and the results are absolutely amazing!

So how does it work? A laser focuses light energy at a specific wavelength into a narrow beam just a few millimetres in diameter. At the proper wavelength and energy, the laser light penetrates the skin, attacking the hair follicle without damaging the surrounding tissue. Hair that is in an active growth phase will be destroyed by the energy absorbed from the laser light.

Generally, five to eight treatments will be required for best results. Skin colour, hair colour and texture, and body area are among the many factors that determine how readily hair will be removed. Dark hair is easier to remove than blonde hair; grey hair without pigment at the follicle cannot be removed.

Laser hair removal can be used on large patches of skin on a variety of areas including the face (not around the eyes), arms, underarms, back, chest, bikini area, and legs. Other methods such as epilation and threading can only be used on certain areas. The process is fast and almost painless, whereas waxing and electrolysis can be painful. Shaving and waxing are also short-lived in comparison. With laser hair removal there is minimal upkeep.

The cost of laser hair removal varies depending on the area you would
like to treat. Revitalise offers great packages from as little as £50 per session. When you compare the cost of these sessions to continually buying products, this is a much more economically beneficial option.

» Brighton Lights 31

Our new programme for thelatest.tv sees Juice FM presenter Guy Lloyd investigate all manner of things. He starts off with chart-topping band The Hoosiers who were mega-successful a couple of years ago, were dropped by their major label and have become fashionably independent. Their chart-topping album cost £1 million to record, their new album £100 and we reckon it's just as good. We have exclusive footage of this new record. Guy does crazy-golfing with them, checks out their sound-check and witnesses the fans' adoration of the band at Audio in Brighton. In future shows Guy will be doing waxing, Dot Cotton, air guitar and needs your suggestions for more crazy things (or people) to do. Send to bill@thelatest.co.uk
