Idol in town
There was much excitement at the Southern FM studios last week as original Pop Idol winner Will Young, dropped into the breakfast show, now hosted by Danny Pike, Jack the Lad and Lindsey Bartlett. Will revealed that Brighton beach was the inspiration behind his latest album Let It Go.

The star, who established himself as a number one chart topper after winning TV show Pop Idol, talked music, life after winning Pop Idol, surfing, and his current single ‘Changes‘.
“I come down to Brighton heaps now. I was working down here last summer, writing on the beach and found it such a great place. It inspired a lot of the album,“ said Will. “The great thing is that Brighton’s got such a cool feel, yet is still different to London. I never get any hassle here, I potter around and get to do my own thing, I love it!”
Lindsey Bartlett said: “Will was a brilliant bloke to interview. He looked fantastic and was on top form, even though he’d spent all weekend at The V Festival and came in to the show first thing on Monday. The best news is he’s got brains as well as looks as he got the top score on the celebrity £1000 minute leader board!“

The model, who has admitted husband Peter, thinks she has had enough surgery, has regular botox injections and has even let the cameras film these sessions for reality show Jordan and Peter for ITV2.
