Eat your way to better health and wellbeing with the Zest4Life programme

For many of the one in five people in England who are overweight, the diet industry is failing, and it’s easy to become disillusioned by yo-yo dieting.

Zest4life is a nutrition, weight loss and vitality programme that tackles this dilemma. It educates people on how to lose weight, maintain weight loss and improve their long-term health.

Most approaches to weight loss focus on one element such as diet or group support, and usually focus on short-term success. Zest4life combines personal guidance from a qualified coach and nutritional therapist with group support, a healthy and tasty low-GL diet, nutritional education and the tools to address motivation and emotional eating. Weekly sessions involve weigh-ins to monitor progress, plus educational topics including digestive and heart health, anti-ageing and exercise.

A recent Brighton group achieved average an weight loss of half a stone over six weeks, with 100 per cent reporting increased energy levels, reduced cravings, improved memory, concentration and alertness, and better skin health. Stress levels and sleep patterns are also significantly improved.

The next Zest4life programmes start in Brighton and Hove on Tuesday 11 May. Corporate groups can also be arranged to boost employee wellbeing and productivity.

» Brighton Lights 31

Our new programme for thelatest.tv sees Juice FM presenter Guy Lloyd investigate all manner of things. He starts off with chart-topping band The Hoosiers who were mega-successful a couple of years ago, were dropped by their major label and have become fashionably independent. Their chart-topping album cost £1 million to record, their new album £100 and we reckon it's just as good. We have exclusive footage of this new record. Guy does crazy-golfing with them, checks out their sound-check and witnesses the fans' adoration of the band at Audio in Brighton. In future shows Guy will be doing waxing, Dot Cotton, air guitar and needs your suggestions for more crazy things (or people) to do. Send to bill@thelatest.co.uk
