The Latest

Latest 7 magazine is a free weekly, full colour publication available at over 1000 outlets across the south of England. It is THE weekly city news, entertainment & what’s on guide, complete with TV listings and has a readership of over 100,000 per week.

The magazine comes with Latest Homes, featuring stylish editorial and a huge property listings section.

We are far and away the most successful media organisation in Brighton, appealing to 18 year old clubbers and 50+ homebuyers alike, with our core audience being the 18-40 age group. In surveys conducted by Business Blueprint and the University of Brighton, 83% of residents regularly read Latest Homes / Latest 7 making it the most popular magazine in the area.

Latest 7 has regular columnists such as Andrew Kay’s Food & Drink, Jo Brooks’ Celeb City, Mitchell & Nixon’s Bare Cheek and many more bringing you news, celebrity, comedy and the best of what’s on offer in the city.

Latest 7 magazine is supported by this website: providing up to the minute news, listings and reviews. Latest Homes magazine is supported by the popular property portal, our comprehensive property database featuring every property available on the market for all our featured estate agents, as soon as the property is marketed. This website has more Brighton & Hove properties than any other property website, bar none.

The magazine is also supported by which broadcasts a regular magazine show, Brighton Lights, highlighting everything from serious politics with regular interviews with Brighton & Hove’s MPs and councillors to the zaniest comic antics with our resident comedian, Matt Whistler.

We started our magazine 11 years ago in partnership with local businesses and estate agents, several of whom are small shareholders in our business. All the estate agents advertise within the magazine, sections include Showcase and Dream Homes features which invite readers into some of the best homes in the South. We work closely with the Brighton and Hove Estate Agents Association and are involved in their annual awards event, the society occasion of the year, which provides excellent branding opportunities.

We also sponsor large Brighton events every year such as the Brighton Festival and Festival Fringe, the Latest Awards Show, the Artists Open Houses, the Brighton & Hove Food & Drink Festival, the cinecity Brighton Film Festival, the Brighton Science Festival and many other events.

You covered a segment of us when we first set out as a local group called Brighton Riders BMX , now a year on its our 1st birthday and we are riding around Brighton & Hove doing a Treasure Hunt for all our members old and new to celebrate!

We’re meeting up at Preston Manor for 10:30 am splitting into 2 teams, reading clues to find hidden locations ending up on the seafront to present Trophies to the winners, stickers, balloons and sweety bags for all that take part and a big slice of birthday cake! It should be a fun day out on May 22nd 2016, my name is Kevin Bentman 39 from Mile Oak and I started up this group on Facebook to allow other bmx enthusiasts to get together in a safe forum to talk, but and sell and go on organised events! We now have over 725 members some of which were massive names back in the day and very influential in the sport, we have also raised £2000 for Off the Fence Antifreeze project to help the homeless people of the city , we welcome all riders all ages and abilities!! This event celebrates what we have achieved in a year.

It would be great if you could cover this story on the website and or magazine ??
