The Amex Stadium is set to go green for 2012’s Eco Technology Show

Taking place at the Amex Stadium on 15 and 16 June, the event will see over 100 exhibitors showcase a range of renewable and sustainable technologies, alongside features and zones including Eco Build, Design, Energy, Transport, Home, Food and Lifestyle.
Commercial Director Nicola Gunstone introduces the show to Latest 7 and explains the event’s key zones and features.

Build Energy & Home Zone
With fuel prices doubling every five years, over 4 million households in fuel poverty (10% per cent of annual income is now spent on heating your home) and a reduction in fuel security (we are now a net importer of energy) alternatives are needed. The show’s Build Energy and Home Zone will feature all the products and services that businesses and the public need to retrofit, build or improve their building or home. They include insulation, heat pumps, biomass boilers and heaters, thermostats, draught proofing, lighting systems, fittings and controls, interiors, renewable energy and water saving options, living habitats, sustainable design and construction.
Information, Education & Lifestyle Zone
Recognising that a lifestyle change is essential, the Lifestyle and Education Zone will have a range of products for environmentally friendly living, education providers and networks, as well as jewellery and art. There will also be opportunities to test out new technologies including solar bikes, e-trikes and Segways on the test track in the interactive zone.
Workshops & Talks
Alongside the main exhibition, there will also be 27 free talks to choose from over the two days at this year’s Eco Technology Show.
