Communities Minister hails Brighton’s London Road traders for “setting example to nation”

Communities Minister Penny Mordaunt has hailed Brighton’s London Road traders for “setting example to nation” in reviving the high street.

The comments came as the Conservative MP visited the city to see how government cash had been spent.

Top of her itinerary was a tour of the new £20 million Open Market.

During her trip the Conservative MP also investigated how government money to regenerate the Youth Hostel in Old Steine was being spent.
