Stage: Hot Tickets

Few productions create as much of a stir as the annual opening of Chichester Festival Theatre’s major musicals, and this year is no exception with two great shows.

Later in the season Imelda Staunton will star in the classic Gypsy by Jule Styne, with lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, and book by Arthur Laurents – but before that we will be treated to Guys And Dolls, based on a Damon Runyon story with music and lyrics by Frank Loesser.

The production stars Peter Polycarpou as Nathan Detroit, returning to Chichester following his performance in The Pajama Game, and Sophie Thompson as Miss Adelaide. Unmissable!
