Here, Mikaela explains the benefits of Rocket-influenced Vinyasa yoga.

What is Rocket-Influenced Vinyasa yoga?
Rocket takes poses from traditional Ashtanga yoga but breaks them down into moves that are more accessible to beginners, allowing for more freedom and creativity. Vinyasa yoga links movement and breath. Flowing movements will burn calories and raise metabolism, whilst holding poses will build strength and flexibility in the body. Rocket-style systems get you fitter faster, hence the name. The class is for mixed ability and open to all. Modifications are used in the class to cater to the needs and abilities of students.

What can you expect from a class?
A strong core strength workout using powerful yoga breathing techniques as part of a Rocket-influenced Vinyasa practice. You will see improvements in balance, stamina, flexibility, self-belief and realisation of what you are capable of. This is a powerful yoga for body and mind. Classes are also fun and deeply relaxing, from beginning to end.
