Latest reviewer Victoria Scarfield visited Topshop’s pop-up nail bar for an unexpected pampering treat

I was delighted to receive an invitation to have my nails done last week, at a pop-up nail bar by Powder Beauty Boutique in Topshop! I had always wandered past their shop in the North Laine and pressed my nose up against the window, as you do, but never gone in – now I definitely will.

Topshop have completely revamped their store, and the personal shopping department is lovely. I was greeted with a glass of bubbles and a very beautiful array of cupcakes and various girly nibbles, all necessary for any pampering session. This was a lovely and very welcoming addition whilst I sat down and waited for my appointment, had a natter with the other ladies and perused the colours available. Here, another good touch, as the varnishes supplied were Topshop’s own brand and I did in fact go back and purchase the red colour used in my manicure.

The lady who did my nails was lovely and chatty, and made me feel very pampered indeed for an ‘express nail treatment’ – it felt luxurious and self indulgent, which was great. She was very enthusiastic about the colour choice, and the two Powder Beauty beauticians were great in getting the other ladies to step out of traditional colour choices.

She also suggested cuticle care and said they would provide this at another sitting – I was kindly provided with a voucher, which I will be using. I am looking forward to visiting their salon, now, and will indeed be back for some indulgent nail pampering!
