Funny Women Semi Final

The disarming Julie Jepson lead us on a merry romp through an eclectic showcase of promising comedic talent in the semi finals of this established competition. Ranging from sketch to character-based comedy, right through to the musical as well as straight up stand-up. This sold out show attracted a very enthusiastic and participatory crowd culminating in a high energy interactive set from the incomparable Tessa Waters and her ‘walk of glory’. This night is known for bringing up and coming, high calibre comic acts to our wider attention, they did not disappoint. Watch out for semi-final winner Jane Postlethwaite with her creepy comedic charm!
