Rain delays Shoreham Airshow crash investigation

Communities have rallied to remember those killed in the Shoreham airshow disaster on Saturday.

At least eleven people lost their lives in the incident when a Hawker Hunter aircraft came down on the A27 at just before half past one.

Since then hundreds of bouquets of flowers have been laid at the toll bridge just yards from the crash site.

And on Saturday the whole town will come together to in a candlelit vigil at the town’s Adur Ferry Bridge.

Meanwhile hundreds of 999 personnel remain on the A27 site – but rain has delayed further recovery work at the scene.
