Wilko Johnson

Former Game of Thrones actor and Dr. Feelgood and Blockheads guitarist, Johnson, has been on his ‘Lazarus’ tour since recovering from cancer in 2014. This was a crowd-pleasing gig for the faithful with the axe-man strumming out his famous choppy chords, duckwalking and machine-gunning the audience with his guitar, as he performed classic Dr. Feelgood numbers like Roxette, She Does It Right and Going Back Home. More than ably assisted by equally legendary Blockheads bassist and drummer, Norman Watt-Roy and Dylan Howe, it’s obvious that the 69-year-old survivor maintains his joie de vivre and had the crowd jumping up and down in appreciation.
