Uk Showcase and Tap Masters Gala 2016

The second year of this tap gala and festival was on top form as the hottest new talent and international stars lit up Brighton’s stage. The first half was variable in terms of experimentation, but the second half picked up the pace and made us pay attention. Highlights were a vibrant and original youth dance group called Tap Attack, who used chains and physical theatre as part of their piece, followed by the Ukraine’s top dancer Alexandr Ostanin, who dazzled the crowd with his creativity, dynamic rhythms and style. Every performer had a lot to offer and were worth watching.
