Northanger Abbey

My dear fellow, you simply must attend the latest Jane Austen adaptation. It is excessively diverting. The novel and subsequently the stage play are both highly satirical of other (inferior) writers. A spirited cast of players is delightful but top praise goes to Eva Feiler as our heroine Catherine Morland. She is ever so ‘jolly-hockey sticks’ as a girl wrapped up in cheap horror novellas who longs for adventure and expects to find skeletons in every closet. I won’t tell you whether the beautiful heroine and handsome lead end up happily ever after, just to say that I couldn’t have liked it more!
