Brighton crowdknitts a giant west pier!

Lets get creative whilst we commute! That’s the message being conveyed by Brighton and Hove Buses, who have launched a new initiative to get the city knitting.

They’re crowd-sourcing a massive patchwork piece of art, made up of little tiny knitted squares of different colours.

The finished knitwork, a glorious picture of the west pier, will be hung off the side of a bus and paraded around the city.

Meeting with knitting royalty Nina “The Duke Of Woolington” Dodd to discuss the project was Latest TV’s Michael Goodier.
