Craig David

…With Craig David all over your. DJ, it’s all up to you. When the crowd go wild. Tell me whatcha gonna do. He’s gonna rewind. Rewind, when the crowd say”… and that’s exactly what happened last night.

David kicked off performing a mixture of tracks from his new album, ‘Following My Intuition’ interspersed with hits from his extensive back catalogue of garage mixes prompting rapturous applause and a singalong from the capacity crowd.

Backed by a cracking five piece band and two very talented singers, Craig’s vocal delivery was flawless and first class throughout his two hour show. The vibe between them was great. Two large stage screens ensured everyone could see everything, up close and personal. The lighting and sound quality were perfect.

Halfway through everyone left the stage which was a little deflating, only for Craig to reappear a few minutes later behind a DJ deck. The audience was transported to what felt like a typical night at one of his TS5 Miami club nights with colourful dazzling strobe lights and a cranked up bassline. Along with his hit ‘Rewind’ there were mixes from Destiny’s Child and Sean Paul, Drake and Stormzy. Big Narstie joined Craig to perform their massive 2015 hit ‘When the Bassline Drops’: a real crowd-pleaser. The show finished on a massive high with Craig’s new mixed up version of his debut single ‘Fill Me In’ and ‘Where Are U Now’ by Jack U.

A great night and a must see.
