Latest Interiors looks at the value of that all important second bathroom

Adding a second bathroom to your home can increase its value, and is (almost) guaranteed to eliminate those irksome morning queues. Think you don’t have the space? Think again…

After bedrooms, bathrooms are the most popular choice for home improvement and extension. Many buyers, mindful of the competitive market, are looking for extras like an en-suite bathroom to the master bedroom. But you don’t need to lose much space for an en-suite or second bathroom. Malone admits she chucks her daughter’s ‘art’ in the bin and wonders if she’ll remember

I knew one day it would happen. I did not realise it would be so soon, or perhaps that I would accept it so easily. It happened yesterday. I FORGOT how old I was. I forgot my age! I’m not 86, I’m 36, but I couldn’t remember if I was 37 or 36!

The landlady reports on the latest goings-on with her challenging tenant

My naughty Hastings tenant’s eviction order meant that he was supposed to vacate the premises at the end of last week. On the Monday, I received a rather worrying phone call from his social worker.
‘“I don’t know how to tell you this…,“ was her opening gambit.
