My toddler’s dad wants to take me to court. What he wants is his name on the birth certificate. This is of course a perfectly reasonable thing to want. And I would oblige if the government hadn’t in 2003 made it law that if the unmarried father was on the birth certificate he was then granted 50 per cent parental responsibility.
