And now for something completely different
Or should that be somewhere completely different? Actress Carol Cleveland, who is probably most famous for being THE Monty Python Girl, has moved from her Hanover home.
The first time we interviewed Carol she has already outgrown her lovely Hanover home where the walls were covered in memories of her acting career, but it was in 2010 that she finally bit the bullet and put her home on the market. And she soon found a buyer too.
So where has the glamorous Titian-haired thespian planted her new roots?
We bumped into her at a party, no surprises there, and she spilled the beans. Carol has taken the fashionable step and moved to Shoreham-by-Sea and she loves it. She couldn’t contain her excitement about living there and loves the shops, restaurants and the regular farmers’ market.
Her new house is larger and lighter and she is pretty excited about having a garage, too, which after years of trying to park in congested Hanover must be very exciting indeed. She also told us that she has bought herself a small dog.
Being the Python Girl has obviously played a very large part in her life but she is also an accomplished actress with many stage credits to her name as well as appearing in popular TV commercials like the Pimms ad and doing her one-woman show.
Initially she had looked at moving to the uber-trendy Shoreham Beach, home to Chris Evans and family and ace classical guitarist Richard Durrant, but having found her new home in the old part of the town to the west of the church she is delighted that she did not make it over the river.
Fashionable as it may be it does not have quite the same buzz as the increasingly attractive seaside town has with its pretty shops like The Olive Tree, historical buildings and smart places to eat and drink.
