Berkeley’s new homes at All Saints in Meads Village, Eastbourne opened by mayor
Eastbourne’s new All Saints Park and the new homes in Berkeley’s converted All Saints building were officially opened by the Mayor of Eastbourne on Friday 23 July. The attractive All Saints Park has been redesigned to encourage wildlife and to create a peaceful oasis where the extensive lawns, formal flower beds and specimen trees will mature into a relaxing open space that will be an asset to the owners of the homes.
The All Saints building in Meads village is an iconic landmark in Eastbourne and now, after three years of painstaking renovation by Berkeley (in close collaboration with English Heritage), this striking building has been carefully restored to its former glory and reflects its original magnificence when first opened in the Victorian era.
Pippa Bugby, Berkeley (Southern) sales and marketing director, explains: “It is astounding how much work has been done in such a short time. We have given All Saints a new lease of life that should ensure its future, and it has been exciting for everyone involved.”
