The Antique House

The Antique House is Brighton’s latest antique shop. Situated in the heart of Brighton’s bustling Lanes, the shop occupies one of the oldest buildings in Meeting House Lane. Set over two floors, their ever-changing stock includes antiques, collectables and decorative items to suit all tastes. Whether you are looking for a handsome period piece or decorative item, The Antique House has something for everyone, from lighting to soft furnishings, glassware, silver and objets d’art.

The Antique House is run by Mark and Kim who, having made a career change after running a busy hotel for four years, are no strangers to antiques and interiors. Over the last 15 years they have had properties featured in various interior magazines.

”Our aim is to bring antiques back to The Lanes as over the years many have disappeared. We get so many customers coming into the shop and commenting that they have come to Brighton specifically to browse the antique shops and telling us that it is nice to see a new one opening.

”Our aim is to offer quality antiques without the London price tag in a friendly environment where browsers are always welcome. The Lanes is a great place to have a business as everyone is so friendly and supportive of each other. After all, we are small independent businesses with that personal feel.”
