Hamptons International’s exclusive open evening brings the country to the city
Hamptons International, one of the UK’s premier international residential agents has announced it is bringing the country to London in a unique property ‘Open Evening’ from 5pm-8pm, on Thursday 24 April at its headquarters in Grosvenor Square. A selection of country properties will be showcased to London buyers, investors and tenants.
Recent research has revealed growing numbers of London based buyers are looking to move to the country, with over 35 per cent of applicants from the capital looking for country properties, a significant rise since 2004, when only 9.3 per cent of all those registering their interest in the country house market were resident in London.
The stylish event will showcase some of the finest country properties currently on the market with Hamptons International and provide guests with the chance to obtain first-hand advice on moving to the country, where to buy or rent and local area information from Hamptons regional property experts.
Guests will also have the opportunity to preview some of the very latest properties for sale and rent, before they are marketed to a wider audience.
The event will feature properties from Sussex, Surrey, Thames Valley and the West Country, and brings together London buyers, property investors and tenants from Hamptons International’s network of over 85 offices, including 25 London branches.
Marc Goldberg, head of sales, notes: “We are seeing more and more buyers making the ‘lifestyle’ choice and moving away from the city and this event is the perfect way to demonstrate what the country has to offer.”
