Lewis Bootle is a 22 year old street folk musician from Ware, Hertfordshire. Taking influences from a wide range of artists including Bob Dylan, Jack Johnson and Jamie T, he twines lyricism with guitar and vocal melodies for his blend of musical storytelling.
His first release ‘Do What I Need’ was featured on BBC Introducing and has been getting airplay on radio stations across the UK. He’s also featured on Ont’ Sofa Sessions as well as being a regular performer with Tradiio.
Currently gigging relentlessly around the South of the UK with his catchy brand of urban folk music, Lewis is fast becoming a crowd favourite, even being championed by the great Frank Turner.
Hard at work, Bootle has just finished his eagerly awaited debut EP, ‘Friction in the Funds’. After spending two years writing songs and performing them live around the country, ‘Friction in the Funds’ will finally grace listeners on the 5th October.
