Thomas J Speight
2010-2011 saw the digital release of Thomas J Speight’s EP ‘Willow Tree’ through the independent label Young & Lost Club (home of Noah and the Whale and Johnny Flynn), and support slots for Fionn Regan, Doves, Mumford & Sons and Stephen Fretwell – all of which has helped make Thomas and his melodic vocal stylings a must-see.

Family Funktunes
Dante and Delv span their own brand of Northern, Motown, Funk, Disco and Soul for the first time at The Cocoanut, Kingston-upon-Thames in 2001; the day England won 5-1 in Germany. Regular shindigs at the Roundhill, Coopers Cask and the London Unity in Brighton resulted in a loyal following and the need for a name… Family Funktunes was born.
A hugely successful night at The Sussex Arts Club kicked off in June 2004 and regularly saw 250 funkers packing out Brighton’s coolest venue. From a jammed dry ice machine and punters trying to enter by clambering over a grand piano, to a band named after swimming trunks and people dressed up as superheroes using a rowing machine on stage, the night certainly made its mark during its two-year tenure.Doors 9.00pm Price £5

A number of other activities will be in place including bubblegum blowing competitions, a ‘name that tune’ quiz, the chance to have your photo taken with Elvis and vintage cakes courtesy of Polly Gilder. All they ask in return is a few costume adjustments to fit in with their 50s feel!

Greg Holden is a Scottish-born, English-raised songwriter currently living in New York City.
SUK singer/songwriter GREG HOLDEN follows up his #1 song in Holland by announcing an upcoming European tour, including a local show at Komedia on April 25. Greg’s new single “The Lost Boy” recently hit #1 in Holland over the Xmas holiday with support from 3FM radio. It continues to be in heavy rotation. I’m interested in some press and radio coverage to help promote his upcoming tour.
