Just 10 per cent of Vitamin D is supplied through a healthy diet – our exposure to the sun should provide the rest. Lack of this ‘sunshine’ vitamin is linked to a variety of chronic diseases, including diabetes, osteoporosis, and heart disease.?The new, natural BetterYou DLUX 1000 Vitamin D oral spray quickly delivers Vitamin D into the blood stream for optimum health and the easy spray means no additional vitamin pills to take. Plus, it’s suitable for vegetarians and during pregnancy. It’s time to catch some sun!

Show your hair you care!
Eucaderm may not be a familiar brand to you (yet!) as you won’t find it on the shelf next to Pantene and L’Oreal. They have, however, been around for 25 years and are world leaders in hair and scalp care. Seek out Eucaderm if you have hair and scalp problems including alopecia (hairloss), dandruff, psoriasis or greasy hair. The products are for anyone who is after shinier, healthier hair.

The correct combination of shampoo and conditioner is matched to each individual, and to keep things simple, they are called ‘1’, ‘2’, and ‘3’. Now, you may be a 1 and 1, or a 1 and a 2 – hence the need for a consultation. But with its no-nonsense packaging, simple white labels and almost clinical look (one shampoo is a very medicinal orange shade), this is simplicity in its best form – for your lifestyle and your hair.

You will need to shampoo twice to work up a lather, but be warned it doesn’t foam as much as most shampoos. Once you’re used to it though, you may not look back.

We put Eucaderm to the test: “The shampoo has a lovely light fragrance and it left my hair feeling fuller, healthier and shinier than before. The conditioner was rich and creamy. Formulated from natural ingredients it was kind to my sensitive hands when applying, and my hair felt lovely and soft with no residue afterwards.

Shampoo No 3, a dermatologically tested low lather shampoo, is effective in treating most hair and scalp problems with its natural antiseptics. Unlike the other two shampoos, it comes in a pump as it is very runny. The fragrance is unusual too.?As Sarah Landon, director of Ecuaderm Hair Clinic in Hove points out, it’s like Marmite: you’ll either love it or hate it! Alongside the products, Sarah Landon of Eucaderm offers a treatment programme using all natural products based on essential oils as formulated by Eucaderm founder, trichologist Mr David Satchell.
