Latest 7 takes a peek at the exhibiting artists in The Naked Eye Gallery’s new Erotica exhibition
The Naked Eye Gallery unveils its most intimate exhibition to date this October featuring the work of many celebrated artists. The exhibition, Erotica – A Sexual Adventure Of Erotic Frivolity, runs until 31 October.
Swallow and Bone – illuminating erotica
The award-winning penis chandelier is Cornwall’s most interesting export to date. It has debuted in Amsterdam’s prestigious Sexy Art Gallery as well as having numerous features in publications such as Skin Two’s BDSM magazine, The Independent, New Statesman, The Express and The Mail online.
A master of light, renowned for his sensual images of the male form, his work has been published in books and magazines Vogue Spain, Arte and Fotogratica. He has exhibited in London, Spain and Italy.
James has been involved in embroidery for over 20 years. His work addresses the notion of sensuality and desire through the choice of fabrics; silks and linens, the media chosen; hand embroidery, itself a sensual act of needle, thread and rhythm, and the images used. James concentrates on the male figure and the almost breathtaking beauty of the stolen glimpse.
Lucy’s work is an intimate and haunting insight into the world of growing up. She works with acrylic, oil, and chalk pastel on panels. She has previously exhibited in London and Brighton.
Peter’s naughty cartoons will also be making an appearance in this exhibition.
The Erotica exhibition runs until 31 October 2011.
