Brighton Monopoly is back

Brighton Monopoly lovers will now be able to play the game on a board that features new landmarks from across the city.

Tomorrow marks the second coming of the Brighton & Hove edition of the game – 14 years after the original was released.

The yellow spaces, the second-most valuable assets on the board, are tourism and visitor themed. They will feature the i360, Brighton Museum and Pride.

The Royal Pavilion is also joining the board as Brighton’s answer to Mayfair and The Argus will occupy the Fleet Street spot.

A playing piece is being changed for only the second time, with a seagull being added as a playing part.

Promoters have said that Brighton Monopoly is being remade because it is “the most popular city in the country” at the moment.
