Concorde Lift Petition

A petition, entitled “Brighton and Hove Democratic Services: Keep our historic building and the lift maintained and open every weekend of the year,” needs your help to get off the ground.

Deborah Mairesse, who started the petition, lives opposite the Concorde lift and through the years has come to notice what an important service it provides for those in wheelchairs, for families using buggies, and for the elderly and small children who are not able to manage the steps. It would be wonderful to have it working all throughout the year during weekends, even if at reduced hours. Winter is also a beautiful time for sea front strolls and to go down for a snack in the local cafés.
